Bomb Blanket: Overall size of 1.2 m x 1.2 m, with the outer cover constructed of high tenacity, tough and abrasion resistant Cordura nylon fabric in black or custom color. The outer cover can also be supplied in flame resistant grade, if required. Size may be customized.

The system is easy to deploy and can be deployed in less than 5 minutes by two people.

Threat Level: The blanket and the safety circle are compliant to the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.05 Level IIIA. The blanket has resistance to fragmentation from shrapnel from detonating explosive devices.

The ballistic insert inside the blanket is constructed of composite layers of aramid fabric which is ultrasonically sealed in a nylon rip stop fabric coated urethane in order to impart water and moisture resistance.

The Blanket and the Safety Circle are both stored in a carry bag supplied with the system.

The anti-fragmentation protection offered by the baseline system has a V50 of over 1500 ft per second with a 17 grain fragment simulating projectile.

As a modular system upgrade, the blanket system can be equipped with hard armor panels.
